Day
Day 1
Arrival to Iceland- transfer to Reykjavík - Hveragerdi
Upon arrival at Keflavík Airport get the airport transfer bus towards Reykjavík and depart the bus at BSI Buss Station. A representative from Eldhestar welcomes you, and your transfer to the Eldhestar Farm Vellir, just outside Hveragerði, awaits you. At the farm a welcome dinner is served, and you will be briefed in detail about your trip over the next few days.

Day 2
Below the Mountains
This tour shows the beautiful landscape opening up between the mountains and the sea in Southern Iceland. We ride along the river Ölfusá and down to an island in the river delta. We then head up towards the mountains and continue along the Reykjafjall Mountain, where both sheep and horses graze in the summer. Before dinner you have the opportunity to soften up in the hot tub at Hotel Eldhestar or in the big and warm hot pot in Hveragerðis famous swimming pool.

Day 3
The Hot Spring Valley – Reykjadalur
This day-long tour offers spectacular views featuring the variety of the magnificent Icelandic scenery. We ride through lava fields towards the green hills of the valley Reykjadalur. In Reykjadalur valley we will see some hot springs and take a relaxing bath in a warm stream. On our way back to the farm Vellir, you can enjoy spectacular views over the waterfall Djúpagilsfoss and all the way down to the coastline, where we will see the Westman Islands on a clear day. This is a unique opportunity to experience Icelandic wilderness in all its variety.

Day 4
Ingólfs Trail
You will ride on excellent tölt paths and following a scenic trail in the footsteps of the first settler Íngólfur Arnarsson along the mountain Íngolfsfjall, which is named after him. On your way you will see the replica of a viking long house. After you have finished your ride for the day, around 15.30 o´clock, you will be transported back to Reykajvík and your accommodation there.

Departure home (3+1) or The Beach Ride (4+1)
3+1 nights tour
Breakfast at your hotel. If you have chosen the optional add-on of return transfer to the airport a transfer bus will fetch you at the hotel. You can also buy a ticket for the airport transfer bus on site.
4+1 nights tour
Our ride starts at the beach close to the small fishing town Thorlákshöfn. We follow the beach to where the river Ölfusá meets the sea. We then continue our ride on the soft river banks back to Vellir. After you have finished your ride for the day you will be transported back to Reykajvík and your accommodation there.
The tour can also start at Eldhestar's farm and end at Thorlákshöfn, depending on tides.
