In the booming days of the herring era, Siglufjord was dubbed the Herring capital of the world. Ever since then this northernmost town of Iceland has been considered one of the country’s most historic places and at Siglo Hotel we strive to offer our guests an opportunity to experience Siglufjord as it is today while getting to know its historic past through pictures and museums.

Variety of Restaurants
Siglo Hotel offers three restaurants. Restaurant Sunna, one of the most ambitious restaurant in north Iceland, is located within the hotel along with the Lobby bar and is open all year round. Torgið offers launch buffet every weekday and dinner menu that appeals to everyone. Kaffi Rauðka, open from May until end of August, a great option for those seeking a simpler menu suited for the entire family.
